Sound Emergency Medicine has designed this fellowship for non-emergency medicine residency trained physicians to gain valuable training and experience and become leaders in the emergency department.

 
 

As the sole teaching hospital in Cochise County, Canyon Vista Medical Center is committed to training physicians and other healthcare professionals to serve in smaller towns and rural areas.  Our Emergency Medicine Fellowship will help us deliver on this educational commitment and advance our mission of “Making Communities Healthier”

The Fellowship

A 1-year post-graduate fellowship in Emergency Medicine for board-certified Family Medicine and other non-Emergency Medicine residency graduates who want to complete a formalized training program to give them the knowledge, skills, and experience to competently and confidently practice emergency medicine in the community, rural, and critical access hospital settings.
